TECHNICIANS TOP TIPS FOR A PERFECT FINISH

  • Always test in a discreet area first.

  • Make sure you continually stir your weathering tint (just 2 or 3 stirs) between each brush load.

  • Where possible apply the tint laterally.

  • If you only want to tint the brick, use a suitable size brush (usually 2 ½ - 3 inch) Trim the bristle length to about 1 inch (2.5cm) To tint both the brick and mortar, the pot will take up to a 4 inch brush.

  • To avoid runs, remove excess tint from the brush and start at the highest point.

  • For a lighter finish, this product can be thinned by 25%, using water. Any further thinning will reduce the strength of bond to the masonry.
